JBH Partners was founded by Jason Hugo out of an identified need for better client FX management. As such a crucial part of any corporate business JBH Partners aims to deliver tailored FX solutions without compromising on rate and service.
Jason has 16 years experience in banking and financial markets, including senior roles with Custom House, Commonwealth Bank, 360 Markets and AxiForex.
He also has extensive international experience, having sourced and managed Foreign Exchange clients in Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, the UK and the US.
Jason is looking forward to re-defining FX offerings to corporate clients and continuing to build JBH Partners’ capabilities.
The Foreign Exchange sector, particularly in the mid-tier, is undergoing a period of significant change as new technologies and increased competition re-shape the way services are delivered.
As a boutique FX advisory and management firm, JBH Partners is in a great position to service this sector. A partnership has been formed with multi award winning, global FX fintech – Ebury, who provide JBH Partners with an end-to-end FX solution. This gives our clients the best of both worlds - a dedicated, executive level relationship manager together with a world leading FX platform.
Jason has qualifications from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, holds an RG 146 and has been a Responsible Manager on Australian Financial Services Licences.
Outside of work Jason is an avid golfer, Springbok and Proteas fan - all of which are often more frustrating than fun.
